Now that G4F has submitted our resolution to be discussed and voted on at next month’s convention, we’re eager to start sharing the perspectives of AFSCME members who stand in favor of our resolution!
To kick it off, here are the words of Adrienne S., a member and delegate from Local 1215, AFSCME Council 31. Adrienne says:
“My heart is sick at the horrors that the Palestinian people are suffering. I call on my union, AFSCME, to do all it can to end our unwilling complicity in the genocide and occupation of our worker siblings in Gaza. AFSCME members believe our taxes should fund union jobs and the public good — not war crimes, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing.”
