Workshop: Organizing for Divestment in your Workplace!
So you want your pension to divest from Israel. Join us and learn how YOU can help make that happen! Rank-and-file members of DC 37 are calling on NYCERS to divest from all Israeli bonds and holdings in industries that fund and profit off of the ongoing violence in Palestine, and are organizing in our workplaces and DC 37 locals to make this happen. This workshop will provide people with the tools and resources they need to successfully push for divestment in their workplaces and locals. There will be plenty of time during the workshop to connect with other city workers interested in organizing for divestment, and Palestinian liberation more broadly. This workshop is specifically for City workers/DC37 members.
