May Day 2025: An injury to one is an injury to all! An injury to Palestine is an injury to workers everywhere! (Brown PSC)

An injury to one is an injury to all! An injury to Palestine is an injury to workers everywhere!

As we come together as higher ed workers to celebrate International Workers Day, we are reminded that our institution continues to use the wealth produced by our labor to invest in the genocide, apartheid, and occupation of our colleagues across Palestine.

Join the Palestine Solidarity Caucus of GLO-AFT/RIFT Local 6516 on International Worker’s Day to respond to the call for May Day action from the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions-Gaza. This call urges U.S. labor to take bold and concrete action—including general strikes and coordinated civil disobedience—to stop the ongoing U.S.-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza.

“We, in the General Federation of Trade Unions in Gaza, address this call to you on the eve of International Workers’ Day, affirming that your struggle for workers’ rights in the United States is inseparable from our struggle against occupation and colonialism,” wrote PGFTU-Gaza. “True labor solidarity is demonstrated through actions, not just words.”

In response, PSC is calling on labor, student, immigrant, and community organizations to join us in action on May 1, 2025, to walk out and demonstrate as labor internationalists that Palestine remains our compass and the picket line we must walk together.

Join us at Prospect Terrace at 2 PM where we’ll ensure the workers of Palestine, our comrades, are not forgotten as we stand in solidarity with working people around the world. Our struggles are intertwined, and so is our liberation.
