The sister of a member of our Local, @carsieblanton, who was aboard the @globalsumudflotilla bringing desperately needed aid to Palestinians in Gaza, has been illegally captured and detained by Israeli forces.
We call on all @uaw.union members and people of conscience to call the members of New Jersey’s congressional delegation, NJ Governor Phil Murray, and the State Department, and demand they ensure the safe return of all those aboard the flotilla and do everything in their power to bring an immediate end to the besiegement, bombing, and starvation of Palestinians in Gaza.
