On the last day of UAW ConCon, the delegates debated UAWD’s resolution that calls on the UAW constitution to commit to fighting ICE. While the resolution ultimately lost, the delegates who spoke for it urged UAW members to care more about the lives of all workers than the ‘legality’ of a strike, as we can hear in this moving motivation by Local 2325 and UAWD member Shelly Pires @shellywhitney
