PLEASE SHARE WIDELY: As we all know, Israel and the US are manufacturing a famine in Palestine. Death and starvation is rampant. The situation is beyond dire. We are doing another push to fundraise for more than 20 families from Gaza living in Egypt now and few families inside Gaza that our beloved colleague and criminal court interpreter, Ashraf, supports.
He is in Egypt now and he is visiting some of the families who sought asylum in Egypt in person bringing clothes, toys, candies, and money to the families.
But the families who remain inside Gaza are literally starving if not already dead. One such family is pictured above. He’s been sending $150 a week to one family, but now it’s not enough. Things are extremely expensive across Gaza – a kilogram of flour costs $21 and a kilogram of rice cost $18. Getting money to Gaza is difficult too – it can cost up to 30% of the amount being transferred.
We hope you will consider sending some money, however much you can, so our colleague can get funds directly to the Palestinian families who are refugees in Egypt and transfer money to the families in Gaza that are facing this forced famine at the hands of the Israeli and US governments.
