UAW: stop investing in Israeli bonds for genocide!
On day 3 of the UAW Constitutional Convention, UAW Local 2325 member Olga Karounos made a motion to debate UAWD’s resolution to divest the UAW from Israeli bonds. The UAW reportedly has at least $400,000 in Israeli bonds which fund apartheid and genocide. The resolution was initially excluded from the agenda by UAW leadership, but 147 delegates supported Olga’s motion. The Convention is expected to debate the divestment resolution today, day 4 of the convention.
