SJSU Admin Zionist Attack on Professor Sang Hea Kil, CFA/SEIU & The Defense Of Public Education (Labor Video)

Oct 29, 2025There is a coordinated political witch-hunt and attacks on critics of the genocide in Israel by SJSU administration and CSU trustees and one of their key targets has been SJSU professor Sang Hae Gil. The CSU is the largest public university system in the country and it’s union the CFA which is affiliated to the SEIU represents 30,000 education workers. SJSJ professor Sang Hae Kil has been charged and fired for organizing a supposed illegal encampment by supporters of Palestine at the University. WorkWeek interviews professor Gil about the incident, the role of the administration, CFA-SEIU union officials and also the ongoing charges that those critical of Israel are anti-semitic. She also talks about SB 715 which was supported by San Francisco State Senator Scott Weiner and passed by the Democrats in the legislature and signed by Governor Gavin Newsom. She also reports that California SEIU leader David Huerta despite efforts of Professor Kil and others including locals in California refused to act to stop this reactionary legislation.
