NOLSW endorses the Oakland People’s Arms Embargo.
A recent report by the Palestinian Youth Movement revealed that Oakland California’s international airport was the 2nd most frequent U.S. transit point of U.S. military equipment destined for Israel, accounting for 16%. Since January 2025, at least 280 military cargo shipments to Israel have been identified departing from OAK including F-35 fighter jet components used to carry and release munitions, guide weapons, power surveillance and targeting systems, evidently to carry out airstrikes and commit genocide in Gaza. These shipments must stop.
