In nine days, on 30 October, dockworkers in more than 100 ports across Europe, Asia, Africa and America are taking action together, under the slogan: Dockworkers do not work for war. The unions call it one of the biggest coordinated workers’ actions the docks have ever seen.
Dockworkers who act without people at the gates will bear the brunt of the repression that follows, so stand with them.
We’ve built a tool to help you find the action nearest to you. Use it at the link in bio.
The map shows every port we can name so far, grouped by country, with times and meeting points added as unions confirm them. Check back before the 30th; the list is still growing.
It also tells you what passes through your port. We have documented 315 shipments of Elbit Systems components through 56 commercial ports and 3,400 shipments supplying US military bases through 67 ports. Where we have documented transfers from this database or the press for 2025-2026, the port’s entry says so.
Not near a port? Join a solidarity action in your city, push the Istanbul Declaration, share the poster. If you are a union member, dockworker, port worker or seafarer, use our template to write to your union. If you live in a port city, use our template letter to write to your port authority.
Organising something on the day that isn’t on the map yet? Tell us through the form on the page and we’ll add it once it’s confirmed.
Translations of the templates are coming soon.
