As the “Purge Palantir” protests across the world on July 15, 2025 showed so powerfully, Palantir’s surveillance, AI, and data-analysis software platforms are key components of the IDF’s genocide in Gaza and ICE’s terror campaign in the U.S.
This followed UN Special Rapporteur Francesa Alabanese’s scathing report on how Palantir is one main company profiting from what she terms “an economy of genocide.”
In Gaza, there are strong allegations that Palantir’s AI capabilities are the foundation for Lavender and Where’s Daddy?, which are the AI programs the Israeli military uses to create error-filled kill lists with little to no human oversight.
At the same time, in the U.S., Palantir has provided data analysis and networking software to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since 2011 to aid in their policing and abduction of Immigrants and residents in the US. As of April 2025, Palantir has now expanded their complicity by creating “ImmigrationOS”, a streamlined policing software specifically targeting immigrants in the US to accelerate ICE’s campaign of terror.
To borrow Malcolm X’s phrase, imperialism’s chickens will always come home to roost. The updated tools of “industrialized killings” for the 21st century that Palantir is refining to proudly facilitate genocide, apartheid and occupation in Palestine are now being deployed on immigrants and dissidents in the U.S.
Despite Palantir working hand-in-hand with both ICE and the IDF, CalSTRS (the state pension fund for teachers in California) continues to profit from their campaigns to destroy communities in the US and Palestine. CalSTRS has $44,875,000 invested in Palantir.
