UAWD condemns the acts of unprovoked imperialist aggression undertaken by the United States in Venezuela on the morning of January 3, 2026.
We call on the leadership of the UAW and all other labor unions to take an open stance of unequivocal opposition to the actions of the U.S. government in Venezuela. Labor unions and other working class organizations should be making a clear call for the immediate cessation of the invasion, the complete withdrawal of the military, the cessation of efforts to control and extract Venezuelan resources, and the immediate release and return of all prisoners.
We stand in unwavering solidarity with the people of Venezuela as they defend themselves against U.S. imperialism.
