🚨🇵🇸 TUESDAY JUNE 17 | 6PM — Rally at the French Consulate (Manhattan)
Drop the charges against Anasse Kazib and all pro-Palestine activists!
While Trump represses pro-Palestine students and activists in the U.S., the French state is doing the same across the Atlantic. On June 18, two members of Révolution Permanente who who spoke out against the genocide in Gaza will face trial for “apology for terrorism”—among them, Anasse Kazib, a SUD Rail union activist, railroad worker, and former presidential candidate.
This is a critical test: if they’re convicted, it will set a dangerous precedent—where dissent, protest, and even public support for Palestine can be labeled and punished as “terrorism.” It’s an attack not just on the right to protest, but on international solidarity itself.
Fighting for the acquittal of Anasse Kazib and his comrade is essential to defending our collective right to resist imperialism and stand with Palestine. Over 1,000 activists, intellectuals, and artists have already signed a statement of solidarity—including Angela Davis, Tariq Ali, Bhaskar Sunkara, Rima Hassan, Pablo Iglesias, Steven Donziger, Annie Ernaux, Brian Eno, Ken Loach, Mohammed el-Kurd, Norman Finkelstein, and many more.
Join us on June 17 at 6pm outside the French Consulate in NYC to raise our voices against repression—in France, the U.S., and around the world.
