The Labor for Palestine National Network condemns the kidnapping of Amazon Labor Union co-founder Chris Smalls and the other 20 members of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla vessel Handala.

On July 27, Zionist forces seized Handala and kidnapped its passengers in international waters, as they sought to break the siege on Gaza. While in captivity, Smalls, the only Black flotilla member on the ship, has been physically assaulted and denied access to his attorneys by his Zionist captors.

The attack on Handala and Israel’s racist targeting of Smalls demonstrates once again that the Zionist entity and its U.S. backers will punish anyone who resists their deliberate campaign of genocide against the Palestinian people. Now and always, we must be steadfast in our solidarity with Palestine, which is up against the same enemies as working people across the globe.

We demand:
*The immediate release of Chris Smalls and all activists abducted by the Israeli Occupation Forces!
*An end to Israeli genocide in Gaza and throughout Palestine, a total arms embargo against Israel, and the release of all Palestinian prisoners!
*Respect for the Palestinian trade unions’ Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) picket line against Israel!
*An end to Zionist settler colonialism, and a free Palestine, from the river to the sea!

We call on all workers, unions, and other labor bodies to take up these demands and to build power for material action to stop the Zionist entity and the U.S. war machine.
