Dec 19, 2025Hundreds rallied at the Port Of Oakland board meeting on 12/18/25 to demand that the Port Oof Oakland commissioners who are appointed by Oakland mayor Barbara Lee vote to end the transfer of military weapon to Israel in the Port. Speakers talked about the genocide and the necessity of the Port ending the military transfers to Israel which continued the genocide. This was part of an international campaign to blockade weapons to the State of Israel. It also took place days after the US Congress voted $901 billion to the US war machine including Israel and the weapons that are used in the gemoide. Also trade unionist spoke out about the need for labor action against the genocide.
