On Sunday, Inglewood came out to stand with @unitehere11 in their call for FIFA to ban ICE from the World Cup games at SoFi.
FIFA, like Home Depot plans to profit off the labor of our communities while actively allowing us to be criminalized, kidnapped, and disappeared.
Home Depot is a sponsor of the FIFA games. And while both corporations are horrible it’s, important to note that not Home Depot, nor FIFA, nor the surveillance technology companies FIFA has brought to Inglewood police would be able to bring the level of destruction to our communities without the enabling of Inglewood and Los Angeles city officials who are always ready to sell out our communities to the highest bidder.
It’s time to say enough is enough. To our city officials, to FIFA and to Home Depot.
And we do that by boycotting, divesting, and by going on strike!
