ACTION ALERT: Urge members of the Board of Directors of United Teachers of Los Angeles to revoke their blanket endorsement of so-called “antisemitism training” run by the Jewish Federation of LA and unnamed partners, such as the Anti-Defamation League. Keep dangerous misconceptions of antisemitism out of our schools!

Background. The officers of the UTLA Board of Directors will vote Monday, March 17, to make it possible for individual board members to reject a previously approved partnership with the J-FED and its unnamed partners. We know that the J-FED partners with the ADL, Stand with Us and other right-leaning groups, and we do not want the J-FED and its “partners” to host a “training” that dangerously conflates anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, silencing criticism of Zionism. The UTLA Board of Directors agreed to this partnership after coming under intense pressure for recently co-sponsoring PARCEO’s Training on Antisemitism from a Framework of Collective Liberation (https://www.antisemitismcurriculum.org/) with Jewish Voice for Peace.
