NYC AMAZON WAREHOUSE & TECH WORKERS DEMAND NO TECH FOR ICE OR GENOCIDE—Yesterday on Cyber Monday, Amazon warehouse workers with @amazonlaborunion & Amazon tech workers with @notechforapartheid picketed alongside the wide NYC community to say NO to Amazon’s genocide and ICE profiteering. We do not want our labor to power Amazon’s surveillance empire — which fuels global oppression around the world.

Amazon exploits our labor and surveils workers in the warehouses, profits from the disappearance of our immigrant coworkers and neighbors, and supplies cloud power to Israel that fuels its genocide in Gaza. Amazon tech workers and warehouse workers spoke about the connections across these shared struggles.

We were joined by community partners from @demilitarizebklynnavyyard@pop4climate & @nycdsaantiwar who plugged their work and campaigns kicking genocide profiteers out of our city, building labor power for an arms embargo, and standing up to the tech oligarchy & ICE through direct action.

Amazon is most threatened by its workers organizing together across borders and sectors. When warehouse and corporate tech workers come together to demand better, – that’s when Amazon’s empire begins to crumble. Together, workers can build the power necessary to halt its gears and build a better future together.
