On Women’s Day 2024 there will be global actions to defend Palestinian women journalists in Gaza who face bombings and deaths from the IDF. Sixteen have been killed and their children and family are at risk as well. WorkWeek interviews Rania Khayyat who is the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate International Officer about their conditions as well as all Palestinian journalist. Over 124 have have been killed in Gaza and the West Bank and many have been detained under administrative detention. Some have been jailed for twenty years. This interview took place on 2/29/24.
