*Per NEA standing rules on boycotts, the new business item will be referred to the executive committee and voted on again at next year’s RA to become official union policy.
The National Education Association is the largest labor union in the United States. It represents pre-K to post high school educators, faculty and staffers at colleges and universities, retired educators, and college students preparing to become teachers.
This past week, NEA held its 2025 Representative Assembly where 7k educators came together to vote on business for the coming year. Educators for Palestine, an officially recognized caucus of the NEA, won every motion made in support of Palestine.
