US Labor Must Act Now to Stop US-Israel Wars!
April 3, 2026

The Labor for Palestine National Network unequivocally condemns the rapidly expanding US-Israel war against Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and throughout the region.

  1. This is a naked war of aggression that reflects decades of bipartisan US imperialism in the Global South to extract natural resources and terrorize the working class.
  2. This is a war of terror. The US-Israel attacks have already crippled vital infrastructure and killed thousands of people. It is being conducted by the same war criminals that have genocided at least 100,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 7, 2023; who have bombed millions to “liberate” Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, and Nigeria; who are carrying out aggression across the Americas with military intervention in Venezuela and economic warfare against Cuba; and who are waging a fascist wave of terror at home against migrants, complete with mass abductions, concentration camps, deportations, and the murder of anti-ICE protesters.
  3. No one is “liberated” by imperialist war. US-Israel bombs are destroying the rights of Iranians, Lebanese, and Palestinians to live, thrive, and determine their collective future and governance.
  4. The war is an extension of the Nakba. Israel has seized on the war against Iran as an opportunity to bomb, invade, and occupy Lebanon, in pursuit of its long-term project of territorial expansion known as the “Greater Israel” project. At the same time, Israel continues to expand eight decades of Zionist ethnic cleansing—-the ongoing Nakba—by intensifying anti-Palestinian pogroms in the West Bank and relentless genocide in Gaza.
  5. Imperialist bombs dropped abroad also fall at home. The war on Iran is a massive attack on the entire working class. While racism, unemployment, homelessness, cost of living, food insecurity, school and social service cutbacks, union-busting, deportations, and repression soar at home, US troops are being sent thousands of miles to kill and die for oil executives, weapons contractors, the billionaire class, and Israeli settler colonialism. The $1+ billion a day it costs to bomb Iran—including $2+ million for the Tomahawk missile that massacred 165 children at Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school—should be spent instead on building just, sustainable societies at home and abroad.
  6. We need workers’ action now. Protest rallies are essential, but are not enough to stop war, rising fascism, and crisis dragging the entire world toward disaster. Echoing workers in Europe and North Africa who have gone on strike against the genocide in Gaza, we must use our power—in the streets, in our unions, in our workplaces, and in uniform—to build an anti-imperialist united front in support of a general strike, and calls from Minneapolis, May Day Strong, and many others, for No Work, No School, No Shopping on May Day 2026.
  7. We demand:
    • No war on Iran!
    • End Israeli Genocide—Arms embargo now!
    • US hands off Venezuela and Cuba!
    • Abolish ICE!
