NEA Members and Allies Support Dropping the ADL
At the 2025 Representative Assembly of the National Education Association, delegates voted in favor of New Business Item #39 to not use, endorse, or publicize any materials from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
The ADL has long marketed itself as an expert advisor to school communities on antisemitism and other forms of bias. However, despite its reputation as a civil rights organization, the ADL is not the social justice educational partner it claims to be.
The RA vote is an historic victory for the movement for Palestinian rights. As a result, the ADL and its zionist allies have been pressuring NEA leadership to block NBI 39 from proceeding. Will you tell NEA leaders you stand with us and say to the ADL, not in our schools?
Please sign the letter below and share widely to let the NEA Executive Committee know that many of us stand with the RA delegates in support of the NBI 39 decision.
