Boycott Home Depot!
BOYCOTT HOME DEPOT!
As repeated waves of kidnappings by unidentifiable armed, masked gunmen have brought terror and violence to our families and communities, Home Depot has been used as a stage for the repeated targeting of workers.
Home Depot’s silence on this issue speaks volumes about their support for Trump’s anti-democratic and anti-worker policies and shows a lack of empathy for the risks that workers and indigenous communities are facing right now in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California.
We, the undersigned, are calling for a coordinated boycott of Home Depot across the greater Los Angeles area, until the following FOUR demands are met!
1. STOP the Immigration Raids NOW! Stop the Militarized Assault on Los Angeles NOW!
We demand that Home Depot voice public opposition to Trump’s violent assault, kidnappings and deportations of workers and indigenous communities.
2. Home Depot Must Prohibit All Federal Immigration Agencies Access to their Stores and Parking Lots
We demand that Home Depot deny ALL federal immigration agencies access to any property owned by the stores including parking lots for any staging, surveilling, assaulting or kidnapping; and take measures to protect all day laborers and customers on their premises.
3. Protect Day Laborers NOW!
We demand that Home Depot allow day laborer centers at every Home Depot location. Immediately stop all harassment of day laborers including the towing of their vehicles, harassment by security guards and the calling of police and/or ICE on workers and indigenous communities.
4. Justice for Impacted Families NOW!
Home Depot’s complicity with federal immigration agencies and potentially with vigilantes and bounty hunters has resulted in kidnappings and irreparable damage to hundreds of families. We demand that Home Depot compensate the families that have been negatively impacted by these anti-immigrant raids that have taken place on Home Depot premises for their pain, suffering and ALL unspecified damages.
Fun Fact: Home Depot has been able to donate more than $62 million to Trump and MAGA colonial fascism.
We, the undersigned, pledge to continuously boycott Home Depot until these demands are met.
