ACTION REQUEST! Over the past 14 months, Israel has killed at least 17, 400 children in Gaza, destroyed at least 87% of schools, killed more than 400 teachers, and wounded 2400 more. Children who are 5-9 years old account for the largest share of deaths in Gaza. Israel has officially killed over 41,047 Palestinians in Gaza, though a study by the Lancet estimates that 186,000 or more Palestinian deaths could be attributable to Israeli aggression since October 2023.
Numerous international agencies and human rights organizations have labeled Israel’s actions in Gaza as crimes against humanity and genocide. The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for war crimes.
Over the past 14 months, U.S. taxpayers have paid 17.9 billion dollars toward Israel’s genocide in Gaza, even as a majority of the American public support an arms embargo. According to opinion polls, 62% of Jewish Americans and 61% of all Americans surveyed support at least a partial arms embargo on Israel. On November 20th, 2024, 19 U.S. Senators voted to block the sale of weapons to Israel.
