Audio from inside Grand Central Station broadcast over WBAI radio sent in live via my cel phone. Around 5,000 protesters organized by Jewish Voice for Peace against Israel’s bombardment of Gaza saying “No to Genocide”. The extremely raucous yet disciplined protest saw passengers trying to leave the station as well as those trying to catch trains being blocked by police and metal barriers, along with protesters and some U.S. military carrying machine guns. Hundreds were arrested, including some NY State legislators protesting Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of civilians in Gaza.
