Last week, BDS Union Members for Palestine wore our keffiyehs to work! On Monday, we joined fellow legal workers from ALAA – UAW 2325 (and workers across the country) to engage in a labor action in response to the call issued by our siblings in the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions who face an accelerating and expanding ethnic cleansing and genocidal Zionist occupation that is fueled by the U.S. This action was also organized to protest the attack on our right to free speech since union siblings have faced discipline by the NY Courts and since siblings at A Better NYLAG Union have been facing intense suppression of their free speech by NYLAG management. While our bosses and the courts choose to assert their alignment in service of empire, we wear our keffiyehs to assert our rights to condemn genocide and stand with the Palestinian people and our other siblings under attack.
