VICTORY!
The Professional Staff Congress (PSC), the union representing 30,000 faculty and staff at the City University of New York, voted last week to:
1️⃣ Send a letter to the TRS pension board supporting full divestment from Israel
2️⃣ Divest PSC funds from Israeli stocks and bonds by January 2026
3️⃣ Convene a volunteer committee to explore further divestment by February 2026
In the resolution, PSC members cite the example of DC 37 Local 3005, who voted to support NYCERS pension divestment. Small steps lead to bigger ones!
