Thank you to all who came out to the lunchtime picket today! We counted upwards of 130 folks marching and chanting, which included ABN members, ALAA siblings and LSSA comrades as well.
It was incredible to see us all come together as one to say ENOUGH! We will not be silenced!!
This is just the beginning, as our VP of Organizing said at the end of the picket: we are ready to take this energy into bargaining and WE WILL BE BACK!!
special thanks to @kingoffalafel and @albadawi.nyc for donating delicious food and to the NYLAG supervisors who donated $$ for sweets in solidarity!!

Workers at @abetternylag picketed after management banned pro-Palestine posters in the workplace.
They report management has ripped down posters they deem as violating the policy – everything from art of the Palestinian flag, to pictures of watermelons.
The workers say free speech in a workplace must be protected and the union has filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge against NYLAG with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
