Speakers:
- Imad Temeiza is an organizer from the Palestinian Postal Service Workers Union (PPSWU), based in the West Bank, occupied Palestine. He previously represented Palestine in the Universal Postal Union (UPU) from 2020–24.
- Ibrahim Shikaki is associate professor of economics at Trinity College, Hartford, CT. He earned his PhD from the New School for Social Research in New York, and held teaching positions in the US, Italy, and Palestine. Ibrahim teaches courses on macroeconomic theory, economic growth, inequality, and history of economic thought. His research fields include growth and distribution models, economic history, and the political economy of Palestine. His most recent publication is an article in the 2026 volume of the Socialist Register titled “Dependency and Dispossession in Palestine: From Colonialism to the War on Gaza”. Ibrahim is a member of the Union for Radical Political Economics (URPE), the Association for Heterodox Economics (AHE), and the Association of American University Professors (AAUP), and a former UAW member.
- Mona (Mun-na) Abhari from the BDS Movement is a Palestinian organizer based in Savannah, GA, who has been active in union/labor work for 6 years, and has been a union organizer with the BDS campaign since 2025.
