NYC Labor for Palestine invites you to join in the international April 15 Coordinated Economic Blockade to Free Palestine in an action that can be replicated with your affinity group or crew around the city.
This action uplifts the movement for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions which aims to target the companies that profit from genocide and apartheid in Palestine. Our goal is to have as many of these sticker actions as possible on April 15th, to slowdown economic activity in solidarity with the call against business as usual during the genocide of Palestinians.
As rank-and-file trade unionists and working-class organizers, we are committed to walking the BDS picket line in solidarity with the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions and blocking the arteries of capitalism for a liberated Palestine. By placing the sticker on the barcode of BDS products, consumers are forced to reconsider their purchase and crossing the BDS picket line.
The BDS movement was founded by Palestinian civil society in 2005 as a way to exert pressure on Israel to comply with international law and meets three key demands:
1) An end to Israel’s occupation of all Arab lands and dismantling the illegal apartheid Wall;
2) Full equality for Palestinian citizens of present-day Israel; and
3) The right of return for Palestinian refugees.
